I’ve been a speech therapist for about 15 years, working with children and families in clinics, schools, and in their homes. I’ve worked with children who aren’t talking yet, use devices to communicate, are hard to understand, or need support connecting and engaging.

Over time, I noticed something simple. Kids make more progress in their natural environment, where they feel most comfortable.

That’s why I created Meraki, with the goal of helping your child communicate in a way that works for them, and showing you how to support them in your daily routines.

​

I’ve also worked as an adjunct faculty member at Chapman University, teaching and supporting future speech therapists, and as a clinician at UCI’s Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. I earned my degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley and my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State. I’m a licensed speech language pathologist in California and hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Families often tell me I really listen and truly care. That matters to me.

I take the time to get to know your child and your family, and we work together with simple, practical ways you can use throughout your day. I look at your child as a whole, not just their speech, and work closely with other professionals so everything feels connected and supportive.

I’m also a mom of two young kids, so I understand how full life can feel. 

Outside of work, I love spending time with my boys, family, and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, practicing yoga, and traveling. I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world and volunteer with children in other countries, which shaped how I connect with families from many different backgrounds. I’ve also mentored through Big Brothers Big Sisters here in Orange County.
